Adolescents who struggle with attachment issues, mood disorders, sustaining interpersonal relationships, or recovering from trauma can find help at Uinta Academy, a residential treatment facility that focuses on relationships and equine therapy. Our strategy is supported by research showing that the key to overcoming trauma is having solid relationships.

Residents are assigned to one of our four residential residences, which are therapeutically partnered with their very own horse and are located in the picturesque Wellsville Mountains in northern Utah. Teens at Uinta choose the residence that best meets their needs and fosters development.
